Wilton Eco Park – Update & Meeting on Wednesday 9th May 2012

The Wilton Eco Park Community have taken another step forward & are now formally registered as a Community Land Trust. An update from The Trustees of Wilton Eco Park & details of a forthcoming meeting on Wednesday 9th May are below:

“Work has been continuing behind the scenes on the Wilton Eco Park with Our Enterprise on the bid for the site UKLF site.  However the MOD’s schedule for issuing the invitation to bid has been delayed and we would like to take advantage of the time, and invite you to input more of your ideas about the EcoParkitself, and its surrounding and the town.
 
You can do this at this stage by writing to us, emailing, or attending a workshop-style meeting which will be held in Wilton in the evening of Wednesday 9th May. 
 
At the meeting we will update you on progress, and summarise what we’ve already learned from yourselves and the wider community in earlier public meetings and via the public events run in March as part of The Great Green Challenge.  The ideas at the meeting will be distilled and add to our bid for the site being made in partnership with Our Enterprise.
 
Please let us know if you would like to attend the meeting Feel free to forward this message to anyone who you feel would be interested, as we want to reach all in the community who have a view.
 
We’ll be arranging more opportunities to discuss details in the months after the bid process goes ahead, and we hope we have won.  But to know more of what you think now is very important.
